Sex and our City...Toronto! Season 2 1/2
Wouldn't be possible without these memories/people/laughs...

Scrambled Leggs Productions was created in 2002 when Erin Gamelin, a Second City student at the time, decided to start a sketch comedy troupe. She asked a friend of hers she met in class, Julie Robbins, to join and help cast for more girls. Within a few months of collaborating, writing and rehearsing they launched many productions in various venues around the city. Within the year Albert Howell (of Devil's Advocate fame), was brought on as their main director and then Steve Morel ( Second City main stage Director).   Scrambled Leggs  quickly garnered acclaimed reviews from critics around the city. Scrambled Leggs has performed on some of Toronto's' best comedy stages including Second City's Tim Sims Playhouse, The Rivoli, Toronto Fridge Festival, and 2003 Toronto Fringe Festival. Scrambled Leggs has also garnered a spot at the Tim Sims Encouragement Fund Showcase, a Canadian Comedy Award nomination.

With a great few years as producer, writer and actor in Scrambled Leggs, Erin moved the production in a different direction and launched a new project. This is Erin Gamelin of Scrambled Leggs Productions first feature length play presented for this years Fringe Festival. Though Scrambled Leggs as a sketch Comedy troupe changed players from time to time, this is an entirely new cast with Erin again proudly being the producer, playwright and performer in Sex And Our City. Toronto!

More about the Playwright.

Erin Gamelin hails from Edmonton where she started working professionally as an actor in theatre at age 11. She has worked in Toronto in film, television and theatre and has trained as a performer with great coaches such as David Rotenburg, John Dawson, Second City Alumni Jenny Parsons, Albert Howell, Lisa Merchant and Dave Pierce to name a few. She has also trained as a writer with Saturday Night Live writer Robin Duke. Having a love for comedy, her time at Second City launched her direction into writing and producing as well as acting. She found that there is not much smart, challenging, funny and meaty writing for actresses to perform with and Erin 's passion for writing has proved a hit for male and female audiences.
